MAKING ICE CREAM – BEST SCIENCE LESSON EVER

Last week, we had a whole lot of finger lickin’ fun,  making our own Ice Cream in our last ‘States of Matter’ Science lesson, where we have been learning about REVERSIBLE and IRREVERSIBLE CHANGES.

As promised, here are the ingredients and method, so that you can try it again at home and have some more Half term treats !

INGREDIENTS:

  • Half a cup of flavoured milk
  • Ice
  • 1 tablespoon of caster sugar
  • 6 tablespoons of salt
  • Small zip-seal bag
  • Large zip-seal bag
  • Half a teaspoon of vanilla essence (optional)
